Communication
We have three main communication methods at Powerscourt National School. Two apps and our weekly newsletter. If parents would like a one to one teacher meeting at any time, or have any general questions please contact the school office to arrange a appointment.
Aladdin Connect is used by Irish primary schools to securely communicate and share information with parents/ guardians.
Powerscourt National School office utilises this service:​

To send messages and updates to parents.

To show your child’s attendance. You can also enter reasons for your child’s absences from the Aladdin Connect app.

Your child’s end of year report card is shared via the app.

Permissions for school outings/trips must be approved through the Aladdin app.

Payments for school trips and other school related items can be made through the app.

ClassDojo is an online classroom management platform and app. Powerscourt National School utilise this platform to engage in school-to-home communication directly from teachers. It is also used to give parents an insight into the day to day activities your children are involved in facilitating their learning experience.
