​At Powerscourt National School we understand how important a love of reading is for our children.

 

Our school library is a constant work in progress to ensure we have books that our children find engaging and informative, but most importantly will encourage them to read for pleasure.

​

We also enjoy trips to our local library in Enniskerry also. Our wonderful librarian, Caitriona, helps our children choose books that are age appropriate and enjoyable. We sometimes have the opportunity to attend author readings and events there also.
